UV-curable, waterless, offset printing ink for printing compact disks and pretreated polyolefin (polyethylene, polypropylene) labels. Very good adhesion, moderate tack, good ink feed in the inking unit, low dot gain and high color strength are the key properties of this ink. The UV-cured inks can be overprinted with UV varnishes and can be printed on UV inks in the 970 UV CD and 985 UV series. Inks in series 050 UV have high scratch and abrasion resistance. The shades available include the Europa scale for picture printing and black and white.
